Our client is an internationally recognised hotel and resort chain and they are seeking an Area Financial Controller to oversee all facets of the companies domestic financial function. The role reports directly into the VP of Operations and VP of Finance and works to ensure that the strategic objectives of the company are met.

Overseeing a portfolio of properties you will provide significant strategic support to the senior executive management team and property based management. You will be a dynamic and proactive operator and actively work towards bringing forth business improvements and increased financial returns.

Responsibilities will include the implementation of a financial management system, and will be what is expected of an Area Financial Controller position with great emphasis on business support, corporate governance, compliance and providing timely professional advice.

Successful candidates will hold relevant financial qualifications in accounting and have experience across a range of disciplines: (management accounting, financial reporting, taxation) and will have a background in hotel or resort operations at a senior Director of Finance / Regional Director of Finance level. CA or CPA qualifications highly desirable.
